i’m supergirl & i’m here to save the world

I miss Sarah :( and now Sarika’s gone. :(
It’s exactly one month and one day before I leave. Should I countdown? It seems pointless somehow.

Anyhow, few pictures from the White Party.

It was an amazing Lot10 event & everyone looked just fab and chic in their outfits. Had such a great time that my only regret was leaving early. Wait–and not eating enough of those scrumptious chocolatey brownies. Yum.

Next up? Partying it up at the Yeoh’s!

Funniest thing? When Cin climbed over her gate. Hehe, wish I had taken a video!

Sadly, JUICE’s 6th Anniversary wasn’t as hot as I thought. Well, literally the heat was SWELTERING but besides that -drinks took years to arrive; there was no space to stand, let alone move; no tables; freeflow was gone when we came but luckily I was in the presence of some awesome people, that made it fun and after we got our drinks, created a space on the dancefloor. The music was rockin’ though in the VIP area (absolute love), we didn’t bother staying downstairs as the crowds were worse.

Thanks Andrew for the invites :) x

After the JUICE debacle, we headed to the loft where the rest of the party people were. Obviously more pictures were taken and met up with Joy! (after a lifetime) & many others.

J: Let’s get another drink
M: Yeah, is there anything that isn’t too strong?
G: Omg guys, you should try the sambuca shot. It’s weak and it tastes really great!
Urrr yes. Super weak shot that came flaming and had a strong aftertaste in your mouth. :P It WAS good though, just not that weak.

On Sunday, we decided to surprise Sarika since she was leaving on Monday.

First act: F & S go to lunch at Delicious. M calls F every 10 mins updating her on the situation. SH arrives first, followed by A and RO. M arrives with RI & J. Wait another 10 mins for SA. F tells S that she needs to meet her mom’s friend up at Marmalade and buy her mom some cake.

Second act: F walks into Marmalade with S. Groupies hide in the corner.

F walks right past the cakes drawing a weird look from S. F states her mom’s friends are near the window *points to the 2 chinese guys sitting by the side*.

Third act: S follows F and walk towards the 2 guys. & SURPRISE!!!!

We couldn’t think of a farewell song (auld lang syne is just too emo) so we sang her Happy Birthday instead, invoking an applause from the other patrons as well!

Made her a ‘telephone book’ & we rushed to the airport just in time to say goodbye. There’s just too many goodbyes. Now the next one will be mine.

counting sheeples

It’s great when you have someone you know you can count on to just visit you in the wee hours of the morning and bring you food when you’re starving without wanting something in return, just out of the kindness of their own heart. Thank you, love you.

I’ve been so down lately because of many reasons – some which have been caught up inside me for the longest time now, some which have just been put to light. Nevertheless it bugs me and affects me even when I don’t want it to. I thought the drama was over. I thought the carelessness would cease. But all I realize is that I still need to watch my back, but at least I have people to help me watch it too :) It’s these times you know who you can really count on. So thank you and good night. My contacts are getting dry.

just rockin’ it

Mamboooo was ROCKINNNNN’!

Urbanscapes was rockinnn’ too but in a different way. Actually the same, they were both heaps of fun minus the hot, sweatyness and un-shopping like mood (oh gosh, can the heat really deter you from shopping?! maybe I’m just not cut out for it :P ), and I didn’t manage to eat my hot dog either! But I finally ate it at Zouk last night (yay!) LapSap was of course rockin’ as usual & I just danced and danced and danced my heart out to their amazing music.

Andrew’s rockin’ design

Duckies – they may look cute, but they’re vicious ;)

LapSap in the house!

Us being all hot & sweaty during the act

It was a great event. Snagged two bags for 25 as well!

when i grow up, i wanna be a…

Urgh, sometimes talking to people can be so frustrating. Especially when they’re on a different wavelength and refuuuuuse to be open-minded. Gah! Sometimes I just want to shake them so hard and try to make them understand why they shouldn’t be so stuck in their judgement. Biased judgement.

Anyways, last night was spent at Hartamas Square with some of the GIS crew, reminiscing old times & talking about the new (rainforest!) and concocting up ways of how to deliver bitchiness to certain haughty people. Was trashed in foos by the n00b, but in return, trashed him in pool so that didn’t make me feel so bad in the end. Saw a few familiar faces and by the end of the night was so knackered that I couldn’t muster up the energy to watch Entourage.

Woke up the today with a great plan to go to the office early and help Kenneth pack and load but ended up going just in time for lunch. Recycled ALOT of papers -flyers, newspapers, scrap & whatnot and headed home to eat New Zealand Natural that Mommy bought yesterday, got my last hep shot and settled down to watch Entourage. Felt sleepy afterwards but woke up with a call from the n00b regarding rainforest rooms. Couldn’t sleep after that so chilled online and heeere I am. Will update once I’m back from dinner with the YARRR girls.
