How was your weekend? You won’t even guess what we did over the weekend.

Atypical of the usual family trip, we (minus the King) went on a roadtrip to Johor to look for greener pastures. Yes, we were eager for change, that did not start well with the KFC in Ayer Keroh that served really bad sausages and eggs, and no chicken in the morning. And then there was a blackout. Luckily we were on our way pretty fast after that. Picked up Dad’s friend and a u-turn to reach our destination..

Recognize?

Pretty in packaging.

Shing fit in amongst the plants pretty well. Mom and him decided to cam-whore amongst the fruits as well.

I finally succumbed to my inner uhm..well you get the picture.

Note the upright flower. It was getting ready to bloom that night. I realized we didn’t take a picture of that! Hehe. Only the aftermath. Funnily enough, the dragonfruit flower ONLY blooms in the night. Must be a really pretty sight. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up staying the night in the cabins, made especially for eco-tours. The whole farm is an organic farm. Organic Tilapia fish, organic quacks (by that I mean ducks), organic fruits, organic rice, organic brown/black rice drink. Even organic flies. :( Well, let’s hope they were anyway!

We even went cycling! Didn’t take pictures of that. It was pretty hilarious. 5 people who haven’t riden bikes in a lifetime cycling down a pebbly, dirtroad. Of course, Dad felt right at home because he is a born-cyclist and I’m not being sarcastic. He owned the road. Of course Shing and I had to be the ones to choose the first two bikes that had broken chains. Not to mention their seats were beaming hot from getting sun-waved. Nevertheless we prevailed and chased after the adults, swerving from side to side. I’ll just put more pictures up. They’re for Master Dragonfruit anyway. Haha.

In the end was the fierce battle to get the juiciest and biggest dragonfruit. Of course Mom plunged her hand in to grab the best.

Dad’s content with his pick.

We even saw this!

I couldn’t resist putting up the pictures below. The kids are just too cute!

guitar heroine

Take this test!

Sitting on a couch, hunched over and playing another tired video game? That’s so not your style. Even when you’re just vegging out, you’d rather use your creative skills to rock out at the same time (and anything that gets you moving is an added bonus). You usually jump at the chance to try something inspiring or original, and Guitar Hero is guaranteed to satisfy that urge.

Whether you’re headed to a karaoke bar, an art show, or a concert, you can’t hide your love of all things artistic and musical. And more than just getting the satisfaction of a gig well played, in Guitar Hero you can live the fantasy of being center stage whether you’re a wallflower in real life or not. Get into the game — you’ll be a rock star in no time!

In. Your. Face.
YEAH!!!

while we were shopping

…an unexpected incident occurred.

Not in the dressing room, not while we were taking pictures…but after the heavy torrent of rain in Bangsar.

My legs look really awkward. *cringe*

-Exit shop-
Karim: Is that my car?
Aaron: Dunno…

-Both peer-
Karim: Hmm…is that my car? Why is everybody staring at that car?
Aaron: Did something happen?

-Getting closer-
Karim: OH MY GODDDD IT IS MY CAR!! Oh SHittt..

-Runs-
Something or rather along those lines. My brain’s not functioning today. Too much residence confusion.

They should’ve put a sign ‘KEEP AWAY, ROAD TAR NOT DRY OR STABLE AT ALL’

Or.. “PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK OF THE ROAD BREAKING”
Well…you can come up with better captions than me.

Some random guy actually called his friends to buy a lottery ticket.

Karim doesn’t look too upset but that’s only cos I was being stupid. He was REALLY annoyed and upset over it. Do we know who to blame?

Props to Aaron for being our unofficial photographer of the event. & for dinner afterwards :)

Urgh, I can’t believe I made ’shopping’ into a tag. Now this, I know who to blame! Haha.
